Avon, Richmond, Arlington

About Our Visit:
We took a little detour from our adventure around the country to spend some time with family and friends a little closer to home.
First, we enjoyed a week in OBX with Chris' family where we stayed right by the ocean and enjoyed a ton of time on the beach. Then we drove up to Richmond to spend some quality time with Haley's parents for a few days.
Our last stop was Arlington, where we got to catch up with some friends and old roommates before continuing on our trip.
It was great seeing everyone before heading west for a while! We'll (probably) be back soon :)

Trip Highlights:
AVON, NC
June 25 - July 2
We headed down to the OBX to hang with Chris's family for the week!
We had some yummy coffee, hung out with Duke, and spent lots of time playing games on the beach
Took a few morning walks on the beach to the pier
Caught some awesome views of the clouds and the super bright moon at 1am
We took a ferry to Ocracoke and grabbed lunch before exploring the shops
Chris's Aunt got married!! There was a beautiful ceremony on the beach followed by a phenomenal dinner on the water
We grabbed breakfast Sandwiches at an awesome coffee shop & bakery
Chris took a wind surfing lesson
We grabbed dinner at the Froggy Dog
And ended our trip with one last walk on the beach
RICHMOND, VA
July 2 - 6
Stopped by Richmond to see Haley's family!
We got All-You-Can-Eat Sushi twice :)
Spent the 4th of July at Haley's dad's house swimming in the pool and eating pizzas
Grabbed Starbucks with Haley's mom
ARLINGTON, VA
July 6 - 8
Then made our way up to Arlington!
We grabbed dinner with Gabe and Colleen at a fantastic Italian restaurant where they melt cheese on your pasta in this 90 pound Parmesean wheel
Tried a new Asian restaurant in Rosslyn with Greg and David
And got dinner at Salt Line with some friends before hitting the Clarendon Bars to end our visit
